Getting to the AEGEE House

The AEGEE house is located at Rue du Noyer/Notelaarsstraat 55 and is reachable by different means of transport, explained below.

Airports

To get to Brussels by airplane, the easiest choice is to fly to airports Brussels Charleroi or Brussels Zaventem. From there, there are different ways to get to the house.

Brussels Charleroi

From Brussels Charleroi, you first need to take the shuttle bus to Zuidstation/Gare du Midi. The schedule and prices for this bus can be found here. Once you are at Midi, you can take metro lines 2 or 6 (direction Elisabeth) and get off at:

  • Kruidtuin (French: Botanique) to take bus 61 to Montgomery. Once you get off at stop Ardense Jagers (French: Chasseurs Ardennais), you need to turn your back to the bus stop and walk to the right and you will pass the house.
  • Madou to take bus 29 to Hof ten Berg. Once you get off at stop Vincotte, you need to walk in the direction the bus continues and go into the first street on the right, which is Rue du Noyer. Keep walking straight and you will find the house on your right side.
  • Kunst-Wet (French: Arts-Loi) to take metro lines 1 or 5 (direction Stokkel) to Schuman. From Schuman, you can walk to the house as shown in the map.

Brussels Zaventem

From Brussels Zaventem, you need to take bus 12 (direction Luxembourg) and get off at:

  • Schuman and walk to the house as shown in the previous map.
  • Diamant and take bus 28 (direction Brabançonne). Once you get off at stop Ardense Jagers (French: Chasseurs Ardennais), you need to turn your back to the busstop and walk to the right and you will pass the house.

On weekends and after 8 PM you need to take bus 21 (direction Luxembourg) and get off at stop Jamblinne de Meux. From there, you can walk directly to the house as shown in the map.

Public transport

If you are arriving to a train station instead of an airport, there are several ways to get to the house.

Central station (Brussels Central)

From the central station, there are several options to go to the house:

  • Take bus 29 and get off at stop Vincotte. From there, you need to walk in the direction the bus continues and go into the first street on the right, which is Rue du Noyer. Keep walking straight and you will find the house on your right side.
  • Take metro lines 1 or 5 (direction Stokkel) and get off at Schuman to walk to the house as shown in the map.
  • Take metro lines 1 or 5 (direction Stokkel) and get off at Merode to take bus 61 to Noordstation (French: Gare du Nord). Once you get off at stop ArdenseJagers (French: Chasseurs Ardennais), you need to turn your back to the busstop and walk to the right and you will pass the house.

Noordstation (Gare du Nord)

From Noordstation (French: Gare du Nord) you can take bus 61 to Montgomery. Once you get off at stop Ardense Jagers (French: Chasseurs Ardennais), you need to turn your back to the bus stop and walk to the right and you will pass the house.

Taxi

After midnight, the public transport is not going anymore. In that case, it’s best to take a taxi or try to find a ride on Blablacar. You can find taxis at all train stations or call one beforehand.
