Europe on Track – open call for ambassadors and hosting locals!

Facebook profile_green

Dear AEGEEans,

It is with my utmost pleasure to inform you that Europe is back on Track!

After two successful editions and a Charlemagne Youth Prize safe in our hands, we decided that it was high time for a third edition to happen!

Wondering what are we talking about?

Just imagine: 6 ambassadors travelling for one month throughout the continent, meeting people, discussing, debating, interviewing, to get the living-breathing experience of what Europe really means for all of us!

Excited to learn more? Well, that’s cool because you and/or your local can be part of the adventure! The trip will start on the 20th of April and finish in Agora Bergamo on May 20th!

1. We are looking for travellers:

With 3 different profiles:

* Interviewing/Blogging – high level of English and writing skills
Send us a piece of your writing! (500 Characters)

* Photography – experience in travelling photography (preferably bring your own camera)
Show us your photos! (5 pictures)

* Video-making – professional video-making skills (preferably with your own equipment)
Send us a video you made!

Apply through this google form!

2. We are looking for hosting locals:

Ideally, the hosting local should organise a local event where the travellers can present the project to a wider audience. Imagine a one day AEGEE event with a group of 20-30 people, some sessions and discussions, interactive games, and event that is also open to non-AEGEEans in your city. A toolkit on how to organise your perfect Europe on Track event will be published in a few days!

This year’s topic for Europe on Track was chosen to be: Borderless Europe – Understanding European Diversity.

The hosting local is required to:

* Provide accommodation and meals for the travellers during their stay

* Arrange a place/room for the presentation/discussions and print the PR materials

* Organise a local event – in cooperation with the EoT Coordination Team

The project team has applied for additional funding to support the locals – the results of the grants will be known soon.

Please send your applications to europeontrack@aegee.org

until March 23 (23:59 CET)!

Europeanly yours,

The Europe on Track project team

( You will know who we are in a few days! )
