Open Call for CD Assistant

Comité Directeur is looking for an Assistant for Fundraising and for the preparation of the Y Vote Bus Tours 2014, which will take place in April and May 2014 (but the assistant is not required to stay until then. This person will support the work of the team and live in Brussels. The period of time that the Assistant will work in the CD House will last at least three months, from the 20th of November 2013 until the end of February. On agreement with the assistant, this period can be extended.

Tasks of the Assistant will include:

Help with Fundraising (70% of the time)

  • – Fundraising for the Y Vote Bus Tours 2014
  • – Fundraising for Agora Patra (including the Study and Career Fair)
  • – Fundraising for the Summer University 2014 project
  • – Support in the development of Corporate Relations Committee – together with the External Relations Director

Bus tour Y Vote 2014 (30% of the time)

  • – Logistical arrangement of the V Vote Bus Tours 2014

At the same time we would like to stress out that the complete task list will be agreed with the newly selected Assistant, according to his/her personal interests, as long as they are connected to the Bus Tours, external relations, communications, fundraising and promotional activities.

The Assistant will work in a close co-operation with our External Relations Director Kathrin Renner, but will be part of the team and be involved in all team processes.

We expect motivated and creative members, with good knowledge of AEGEE and open for creating and implementing new ideas, meeting new people, easy-going and happy to co-operate with broadly-understood outer world.

AEGEE-Europe can provide the Assistant with a monthly subsistence of his/her expenses around 250 Euros, partly covered moving in/out, full accommodation, unforgettable experiences, references, possibility of living in Belgium for three months and a warm welcome and atmosphere in our team.
As the time span includes the Christmas holidays, we can reimburse also the ticket back home for Christmas partially. For now we can guarantee a reimbursement of 50%, further reimbursement will be agreed depending on the costs of the ticket.
