The Y Vote project is back and will run over the next two years. It will have it’s peak at the European Elections 2019 – around the beginning of June. The project had two successors, a 2009 and a 2014 edition, which had great impact both on AEGEE and externally.

EXTENDED OPEN CALL – Lifestyle in Mobility project assistant

Lifestyle in Mobility project is a research project in cooperation with Catholic University of Milan and Cardiff University, which started in March 2015 and will last for two years.

Aims of the project are to:

  • describe Study Abroad students’ health behaviours before departure, while abroad, and after return.
  • identify risks and protective factors to better inform the health promotion intervention development.

In the last months, 2 people from the core team have spent a lot of free time developing the official Health4Youth website. Not only can you follow there the latest developments of the project or get to meet the project team, the website is also the place for information about healthy lifestyle. Whether you have a question related to your health, want to look up a cool recipe or want to see influencial advertisements about health-related issues, it’s all there. If you are interested in health policies from different countries, then this is also the place to be. Twin Antennae

The Network Commission wants to establish the Twin Antenna project to improve cooperation and communication within the Network. Combining forces and the experience of two different locals offers them the possibility to support each other, solve problems together and organise common activities. It is the Network Commission’s goal to involve more people in constant cross-border cooperation, bring the Network closer together and eventually strengthen our internal structure with this project. The Network Commission believes that AEGEE is a network of friends and establishing friendships is the best way to serve its purpose.

Mentorship System

The Mentorship System is a project that offers help to new locals or weak ones. The main idea behind the Mentorship System Project is to give experienced locals the chance to share their practices with inexperienced locals that need help. This way a possibility for collaboration between the two locals is given.

The experienced local is “Mentor Local” and the inexperienced one is “Mentee Local”.

Let the Mentees know they can count on you!

When you make the first move, don’t forget to tell the Mentee Local that you can help in many ways and that you offer much more than simple advices – if you accepted to be a Mentor Local already, it is not difficult for you to take some time for new local, as you are doing for your own members...
