My last week was so crazy and full of different happenings, that I even did not have any time to write about it. Trying to catch up now and do it all at once! :)<\/span><\/div>\n

So what exactly did happen?<\/span><\/div>\n

At first, it was PRES1 Leiden<\/a><\/b> (Public Relations European School),<\/span><\/div>\n
where from Monday till Wednesday I was giving workshops about PR<\/b> – to be more precise, one about strategic partners of NGOs (participants did a great role play), second informing them what is CD and PRWG<\/a> doing in PR and the third about PR problems in AEGEE locals. T<\/b>ogether with Ramon and Hilde<\/b> we made sure that participants are getting a lot of PR knowledge during PRES1 week and go back home, full of motivation to improve the situation in their locals! Now I am looking forward to hear them getting active in AEGEE even more :) Special thanks to girls from BEST<\/a> and PRIME who also came as participants – it was very interesting to see and hear external opinion time after time.<\/span><\/div>\n

Afterwards, going back to Brussels and experiencing trains being late (again), I picked up my sister and my grandmother from the train station – they came<\/b> here from Latvia to visit me<\/b> for four days and left just this morning. Trying to show them the best of Brussels, Antwerp<\/a> and Ghen<\/a>t was a challenge as different people have different interests, but we managed to combine them and enjoy our time together – I haven’t seen both of them since April, when I left my home country, and I won’t see them again in the next few months for sure.<\/span><\/div>\n

All? No, not at all! For the weekend, also some of my best friends<\/b> I met in Caucasus TSU 2008<\/a> d<\/b>ecided to come over to have our reunion<\/b> as we did not have one since the New Year. So from Friday till Sunday during the day I was exploring Belgium together with my family, but in the evenings – enjoying the presence of my friends. Few hours of sleep, a lot of walking, talking and having fun!<\/span><\/div>\n

Last, but not least – yesterday Polish mafia in the CD House<\/b> (as Natalia from Network Commission<\/a> is currently doing her NetCom trip and visiting locals nearby Brussels) had St. Andrzejki<\/a> party<\/b>, so we invited some friends over to find out<\/b> their and our future<\/b> through Polish traditions. <\/span><\/div>\n

Now, when almost everybody has left, we can turn all our attention just to daily work. However, I still need to remember that there are duties that never end – like taking care of family and friends.<\/span><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
