The letter was addressed for:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\"><i>M. Franck Biancheri<o:p><\/o:p><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"PT-BR\"><i>AEGEE-Europe<o:p><\/o:p><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\"><i>Rue Nestor de Ti\u00e8re 15<o:p><\/o:p><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\"><i>1030 Brussels, Belgium<\/i><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"FR\"><i><br \/><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">As most of you know, there is no Mr. <\/span><span style=\"\" lang=\"FR\">Biancheri in the current <a href=\"http:\/\/aegee.org\/Pages\/contact.html\">Comit\u00e9 Directeur<\/a>. <\/span><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">This is not the most surprising part, as we almost every week receive a letter that was addressed to some former CD-member. Franck Biancheri, however, can not be described as just \u201csome former CD-member\u201d. As hopefully many of you already know, he was the founder of the \u00c9tats G\u00e9nereaux des \u00c9tudiants de l\u2019Europe in 1985, which later became AEGEE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">The letter was sent from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.micinn.es\/portal\/site\/MICINN\/\">Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation<\/a>. I will not go much into details of the content, as it might be against privacy laws and correspondence secrecy. Our founder is nominated for an honourable position, because his role in the creation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Erasmus_Programme\">ERASMUS<\/a> exchange programme. His lobbying for this programme can not be seen independent from his role in the establishment of our organisation, as he was the founding president of EGEE at that time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">Therefore, AEGEE-Europe is very proud that our founder was nominated for this achievement. <\/span><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">We forwarded the letter to Mr. Biancheri and we hop<\/span><span style=\"\" lang=\"EN-GB\">e that when he accepts the nomination, more of you will here about it through other sources.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/w:validateagainstschemas><\/w:punctuationkerning><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"excerpt\">> Beginning of last week we received an interesting letter at the headoffice of AEGEE-Europe.
