Project Management Workshop at the Autumn Agora Budapest

Our workshop provided the basics of project management to our participants. Our participants first got to understand what project management is, and what consists a project team.

We have provided our participants a toolkit for project management, going through the most basic notions about project life cycle or presenting different schemes for structuring ideas. We have introduced examples of useful software, from Google documents to Doodle, or from Skype to Remember The Milk. We tried to show our participants the latest trends in project management and fundraising techniques.

We have also shared our experiences from the projects we were involved in, and we told how our projects went from the beginning to the end, what the weaknesses and strengths of our projects were, and what could have been learned from them.

At the end, our participants did a SWOT analysis of a project idea that we gave them, where they had to develop a summarized version of a project plan, and through this they could experience the steps of a project.

With this workshop we aimed to develop new organizational skills and capacities, with the ultimate aim of contributing to the improvement of the projects carried out in the AEGEE Network.
