Via Riga to the CD Hospital :)

CD House has a new inhabitant, and that is me – Kathrin Renner :). For the next two months, I’ll be assisting CD and especially Mirek with Fundraising, and my main responsibility will be the Study Fair in Alicante.
I came here for the first time in my life last Tuesday, when I dropped all of my stuff already before going to Riga on Wednesday, where I received my keys and met the CD team, many of who I didn’t know before. I had heard a lot of stories about this place, but what I found was more cosy and had more flair than what I expected.
After an amazing and amazingly cold EBM, I went back alone to an abandoned House, because the rest would only follow one day after: Time to get used to the my new home. Now that I have been living here for a little more than 4 days, I already feel quite comfortable. Besides the fact that it’s uncommonly quiet in the House, since there are no guests and a big part of the team is out, the rest of the team has been struck by the post-Riga virus, so the House is kind of a hospital right now.
About me: I study European Studies in Passau, I like travelling (obviously), creativity and music, and I look forward to spending spring in the county of Kriek and Gauffre. For the next to months, I expect to make a lot of money for AEGEE :P, to learn and to grow, to have a lot of fun at the heart of our organisation and to learn how to cope with extensive snoring :P! Thanks to CD for the opportunity (and making me feel at home :).
(And since I’ve arrived here, the sun has been shining, so it is starting very promising :).
