Have you ever been to Network meeting in Poland? Have you heard that these Network meetings are one of the biggest events in AEGEE? And what about amazing AEGEE spirit at this event?
First week end of November I spent in Poland in nice city Lublin where Network meeting took place. More than 100 participants from 18 locals, 23 organizers and lots of fun during 3 days.
Network meeting started from Opening plenary where apart from official speeches of Main coordinators, NetComie and Secretary General were also presented activity reports of most of polish locals. I was really surprised by their activity, numbers of projects that are currently running in presented locals and level of cooperation between them.
Saturday and Sunday morning we spent on different workshops. Participants had possibilities to know more about European Level of AEGEE, Intranet, Leadership, Self presentation, team working, hitch-hiking hints and to contribute to developing new AEGEE projects like Youth UnEmployment and Integration East.
On Saturday we tried to see a bit more of Lublin during colourful city game but unfortunately rain hasn’t given us possibility to do it.
Unusual waking up with knights, dancing tunak at least twice per day with ALL participants, great people around and of course great parties: one night we turned up in the circus with lots of nice clowns around and next night we visited Moher party with lots of people in berets around.
I can only say that it was a great experience for me to attend this network meeting with amazing people around me and great AEGEE-spirit!
